SOAP ASMR

 SOAP ASMR

You are already aware that using soap to wash your hands at the sink or in the shower or bath to cleanse your skin. It can be used as a face wash as well as a body wash. But were you aware that there is a rare use of soap or other types of soap, known as ASMR soap, that you might not have even known about or considered? It is called soap cutting, and it is carried out for a number of other factors that you might not know.

What connection can soap and ASMR make?
Videos of people cutting soap are an example of ASMR videos that may provide the same gratifying tingling feeling. In these videos, individuals slice soap bars into thin slices.
The ASMR reaction is frequently brought on by the sounds of the blade slicing through the soap bar.
Videos of people cutting soap are still quite new to the ASMR community, but they're fast gathering steam.

Types of Soaps used in ASMR

1. Commercial Soaps
Large multinational corporations with factories all over the world create the majority of commercial soaps. Machines in huge factories produce these soaps in batches. You may easily find commercial soaps at supermarkets and retail establishments. Due to their easy availability in supermarkets, most YouTubers use these in their videos.

2. Homemade Soap
You might still use homemade soap for this reason if you like gentler soaps, which some people do. If you're searching for a harder bar to use for ASMR cutting, curling, or carving to generate sounds more similar to those one obtained from using a commercial, mass-produced soap, you definitely want to use a cold processed handmade soap. If you want a less dense handmade soap, hot process soap may be helpful because it frequently has a lower density than cold process soap. They would also be helpful if you wanted to cut soap with a softer, less sharp sound and the visual impression of seeing a design all over it.

3. Glycerin Soap
Another option for softer soaps is to use glycerin soap bars. This kind of soap might have a transparent, translucent look, a solid, opaque hue, or a blend of clear and opaque sections in its design. Because it has a nice visual and produces a satisfyingly softer sound than the sharp sound produced by hard, dry soaps, it is frequently utilized in ASMR videos. You may get either commercial, mass-produced or handcrafted ones.

Conclusion
Therefore, if you want to use soap for ASMR, you might want to think about choosing a cheap, commercially produced one. Alternatively, if your money allows, you might try glycerin soap bars or a lovely, scented artisan handcrafted soap. Choose the type that best meets your needs because each has advantages and disadvantages. A cheap, factory-made soap that has aged and been allowed to get extremely dry is a fantastic option if you're searching for one that will crunch when sliced. Glycerin soap bar and handmade soap may be a better option if you're seeking a softer soap that will create quieter or softer noises.

  1. Good post Samea!!
Commercial soaps are chemical based and dry so i think they're not good for hands.

  2. Imo, This is the best category of ASMR by far! Love it when Content Creators use Glycerin soap in their videos.
